Working at Expanding the Sphere of Life Science Cause

Historically, scientists and thinkers have had numerous studies and
theories about the nature and characteristics of life. Nowadays, people
feel more and more puzzled at the life science field. In 1990, Chongqing
International Life Science and Technology Academy was officially
established with the principle of promoting health-care skills and
encouraging better knowledge of life science by the society. In today¡¯s
special program ¡°Kylin Culture¡±, I will introduce to you some
information related to this topic.
In the study of life science, people find that many phenomena are
unexplainable with traditional approach and everyday experience.
Therefore, these unexplainable phenomena become more and more mysterious
to human beings. Xiang Quanxin, President of Chongqing International
Life Science and Technology Academy, explained that Life Science could
be classified into two categories. One category is called Natural Life
Sciences, such as genetic engineering, topology, cytology, molecular
biology, etc. These subjects are the ones that people are familiar with,
that they can observe with sense organs or measure with extended ¡°sense
organs¡± ¨C scientific instruments. Another category is called
Supernatural Life Sciences, such as human body see-through, remote
viewing, mental sensing, moving or lifting things with mind power and
wall-walking through, and so on. These subjects often seem mysterious to
people. And studies of such phenomenon with traditional approaches are
often fruitless. They must be done in alternative ways.

¡°We believe such categorizing could inspire people to learn life science
on a higher level instead of relying on ordinary experience. Some people
think promoting life science knowledge just means talking about genetic
engineering or topology, etc. Actually, the study of Supernatural Power
as people usually put it is also promotion of life science. Only that it
is another field and on another level. Some people don¡¯t understand it,
regarding it as mystery. Some others think it superstitious. Neither of
these two attitudes is appropriate. Human beings¡¯ knowledge about the
university is only a tiny proportion compared to the still unknown.
Therefore we are still exploring. (The attitude of exploring) is of
invaluable significance to (human beings¡¯) development. (End of

Dear listeners, as president Xiang just said, the willingness of
exploring is of great significance. In the past, people used to think
that there were only two categories of science. One was Natural Science,
the other Social Science. However, by the end of the 20th century, a
third category has taken form. That is Life Science. Realization of Life
Science is a big leap in the progress of human kind and it is exactly
the result of constant exploration of the universe. Today, many
countries have come to realize this fact and have invested enormous
finance and human resources to study life science.
President Xiang said: (recording):
¡°Life Science has now grown into a cross-century science. Countries all
over the world are trying their best to make breakthrough. Such
situation is providing China with both opportunities and challenges.
Under such circumstances, whoever takes the leading position is going to
be the superpower. China missed the chance in the contemporary
industrial revolution and was hence left behind. Being backward in
science and technology directly leads to lower productivity, which in
turn leads to a less developed and often humiliated society. Therefore,
we can¡¯t afford to be left behind again in this another leap of human
kind¡¯s cognition.¡± (End of recording)
Dear listeners, the Chongqing International Life Science and Technology
Academy was established in the city of Changqing in year 1990. . It was
exciting news. The academy helped bring the society to a deeper
understanding of life science by promoting healthcare skills. Zhong Gong
(i.e. China Healthcare and Intelligence Enhancing Technology) has its
special characteristics. First, its theory is simple yet incisive and is
articulated in modern language, which suits the modern society¡¯s needs
for learning. Next, Zhong Gong regards qigong practicing as a life
self-control project, setting up standard procedures for every stage
regarding its purpose, scope, method, and measuring criteria in both
quality and quantity. Those procedures are formidable and consistent and
are highly integrated for the best effects. In Zhong Gong practice,
modern scientific approaches are being put in use everywhere.
Ms. Mei Lisheng, Director of Students Affairs Department of the academy,
explained that, with the support of friends in all aspects, of our
country and our society, the whole cause has largely grown in the last
five years. In order to further train life science professionals and
promote China¡¯s traditional culture, the academy has started recruiting
for three programs of associate degree, in addition to the training of
Zhong Gong practice. These three programs are ¡°Special Medication¡±,
¡°Secretary and Public Relation¡± and ¡°Finance and Accounting¡±.
Additionally, the academy also has training programs for hotel service,
repairing technology, and cooking, etc.

¡°Faculties, employees and students in our academy are all required to
possess different types of superpower. We use a combination of schooling
teaching and apprenticing teaching which practically integrates the
traditional culture and modern education. While improving and
strengthening their superpower skills, students are also systematically
learning modern science. Our purpose is to foster a group of
professional specialized in healthcare yet possessing multiple skills.¡±

President Xiang of Chongqing International Life Science and Technology
Academy also said that the academy, as a private organization, was
striving for the cause of life science. According to president Xiang,
although the academy has been continuously operating, difficulties are
seen everywhere. Because few people understand life science, the academy
is facing all kinds of controversy and pressure. However, we can¡¯t
afford to wait until people understand us. It¡¯s going to be too late for
the cause.

¡°Our academy has established and grown under difficult conditions. Yet
we have received support from all aspects. It is indeed not easy to have
developed so rapidly. The growing of any new object can¡¯t be without
difficulty, and is impossible to be accepted unanimously from the
beginning. That is why we say we are progressing by pioneering. While we
appreciate the support from our society, we also welcome everyone to
