Zhang Hongbao in Blast Furnace
A Documentary on How the Outstanding Spiritual Leader
Transformed to a Political Leader
Zhang Hongbao¡¯s Hunger Strive
Protest (No. 2)
¡¡
At high noon of Dec. 15th, 2000 at Guam
1. Yesterday a prison police sent me to sixth region for grave criminals when we
passed only three of five successive iron gates, I was noticed suddenly to stop
moving and to return to the cell I lived in originally.
At 3 o¡¯clock this morning, all the Chinese prisoners were moved into a new
simply constructed jail which has been already completed for several months but
hasn¡¯t been started using, the circumstances have shown some improvements. I am
gratified a little at this. I have seen the difference between America and
China.
2. In order to strive for further improving prison present state, I¡¯ll continue
my hunger strike.
3. I¡¯ll transfer the stress of my hunger strike to striving for being discharged
from prison. I hope that Clinton¡¯s Government gives me a distinct answer.
